We are one of Aberdeen’s largest and experienced transport and haulage companies, operating a fleet in excess of 75 vehicles and 110 trailers across the UK and Europe. We specialise in the energy sector, operating our diverse fleet, which is the most modern in the region.

Our business model has been built on forging long-standing, positive relationships and we take great pride in the confidence shown by our loyal clients.

Our drivers go the extra mile

Our hard working drivers are employed directly by us and we encourage them to use their own initiative, where nothing is too much trouble – something we regularly hear in feedback from satisfied customers. We train young people as HGV drivers and take all driver training seriously, to continuously improve their driving skills. Our staff understand that your goods and equipment represent weeks of careful planning and organisation and we recognise we’ve a critical role to play in this process and take pride in the cargo as if it was our own.

Colin Lawson bought his first lorry in 1997, and his ethos of professionalism, reliability, value and long-term customer relationships is the reason why the business has gone from strength to strength since its inception. We endeavour to support other local businesses and believes personal contact with customers is vital in understanding how we can exceed customer expectations. Employing in excess of 75 staff, Colin has a passion for his business that is installed and shared in all employees.

We take our CSR seriously at Colin Lawson Transport and are delighted to support several local organisations and charities within the community. A long standing supporter of Cash for Kids and JDRF, we are currently involved with CLAN supporting their Light the North initiative among other events.
